Blockchain Branding
Sunsten is a tool for businesses and individuals exploring or investing in blockchain projects and emerging technologies. Funded by Volkswagen, the Research Institute of Sweden (RISE), and Ape Unit, Sunsten offers consultancy and tools to simplify the decision-making process. Veronika developed the brand strategy and identity, ensuring the brand experience was embedded throughout the product’s design. Sunsten’s MVP reflects the initial phases of this ongoing project.

The challenge was to create a distinctive and approachable brand identity that could communicate the complexity of blockchain and emerging technologies in a clear, utilitarian, and welcoming way, while maintaining the technical depth required for professional users.Work
Approach
Veronika developed the brand name and concept around “Sunsten,” meaning “sun stone,” balancing its symbolism with practical design considerations. She established the tone of voice, visual language, and copywriting to simplify complex theories and communicate the business’s offerings effectively. Veronika also ensured that public-facing platforms adopted a utilitarian and welcoming design, distinct from the product’s technical UI, while collaborating with developers and UX designers to create an immersive user experience.Results
The Sunsten MVP successfully established a cohesive brand identity rooted in its core concept of “sun stone.” The brand’s visual and verbal communication simplified complex topics, creating a welcoming and professional platform for early users.
